Morning(ish) Show
In April 2020, during an unprecedented time in many of our lives, Lauren Ruffin and Tim Cynova co-hosted The Morning(ish) Show, a daily series of conversations to connect with leaders in “real time” — about their lives, their organizations, their sector, and the world. Simultaneously, Tim was teaching his Leadership & Team Building course at The New School and realized, perhaps one of the most useful things to do at that moment was to pause the planned syllabus and allow students to connect directly with a multitude of those leading in various ways at that time.
WSS launched the livestream and it became an early place to gather daily as humans, as community, to talk about the concerns, the hopes, the hurdles, and the promise this particular moment in history offered us. And in time, it’s now a bit of a time capsule of those early days of the global pandemic and as social unrest was shining a much-needed light on systemic racism and oppression across the U.S.
